I am so excited to join The Center School community! I am a working artist and art teacher, born and raised in Seattle. This is my first year at TCS and my 12th year as a classroom teacher. You can learn more about me and my artwork at Planet Janet Art. I love art, coffee, delicious snacks, and my friends and family. My spouse and I have a 9 year-old kid who is about to start 3rd grade and a cat with fluffy cheeks named Bo Armando.

I have taught high school science and math since 1998. Currently I teach in the mornings at The Center School and afternoons at a small private school in southeast Seattle. My wife and I are three adult children.
My name is Kathy Webb, I have worked with Seattle Public Schools for 7 years as an Attendance Specialist. I chose the school district because I enjoy working with children. I think it is important to teach youth the responsibility of getting to school every day and on time to prepare them for their future in the working world.

I have lived and worked primarily in Seattle, in various careers. I have been a teacher much of my life, but have also been a portfolio manager for State of Washington pension funds, a bond trader for Bank America, and a GIS analysis intern for Weyerhaeuser. I spent a year teaching in Sarajevo, Bosnia, and traveled almost every weekend for a year, which was amazing. I love traveling and travel internationally several times a year.
I currently teach math classes at Center School, which I love. My kids are amazing.
