    2021 Summer Pre-College Program Fairs, a series of virtual events that provide students and their families the opportunity to learn about academic summer programs at top US colleges and universities.

    Camp Overview: This is a 3-week residency program which gives opportunity to high-achieving students with financial needs to experience academic life at one of the nation’s top universities.

    Miami University of Ohio – Summer Scholars Program

    Camp Overview: Just like Harvard’s pre-college program, Miami University also offers authentic college experience by letting their participants enjoy all the campus facilities and learn alongside the faculty.

    In the span of two weeks, students will find themselves immersed in the collegiate setting plus, they get more advanced knowledge on certain areas of interest.

    New York Film Academy’s Summer Film and Acting Camps
    Camp Overview: For those who are into movies and films, this summer camp is simply perfect for you. For four weeks, you will be taught the creative and technical side of film making and you may opt to enroll in their full year program if you really enjoyed it.

    You will experience how to write scripts, direct scenes, or even star in a short film while working with award winning instructors. Expect no less because this immersion program was voted as one of the Top 20 summer camps in the US.

    Carnegie Mellon – Summer Academy for Math + Science (SAMS)

    Sadie Nash Summer Institute
    Camp Overview: Sadie Nash Summer Institute is a 6-week summer program for self-identified women who are interested to learn about different forms of leadership. They give free workshops on things that matter and take the participants on trips for a better experience.

    Harvard’s Pre-College Program & Secondary School Program (SSP)
    Camp Overview: Harvard offers a pretty cool summer program. They allow high school students to take real courses and sit alongside college students on campus. They also give access to Harvard labs and libraries and let them meet the faculty. 

    A lot of subjects included in this program is not part of the high school curriculum. This is quite challenging but also fun because students get to work with equally bright scholars who are willing to help.

    Camp Overview: The focus of this program is language and culture. Students are trained to be globally competitive through immersion techniques and they can choose among these 15 language programs:

    Princeton University – Summer Journalism Program 
    Camp Overview: Students who are passionate about journalistic writing or broadcasting would find joining this camp really helpful. PSJP offers a wide range of activities for these investigative minds. Some of the things they would learn are the following:

    Producing a documentary
    Different views on how college prepares them for the job

    2021 Girls Who Code’s Virtual Summer Immersion Program

    Is for current 9-11th grade girls and non-binary students of any skill level (from complete beginners to AP CS students)

    • Is run virtually for 2 weeks, with staggered rounds in the summer to meet your students’ schedule needs
    • Is completely free, with need-based stipends, computers, and internet access provided to those who qualify
    • Teaching students Computer Science with a focus on activism, sisterhood & community, and building life skills like bravery & resilience

    Teens in Public Service Internship (PAID)
    Teens In Public Service is a not-for-profit dedicated to developing future leaders committed to their communities. TIPS selects teenage leaders for paid community service internships and pairs them with charitable organizations over the summer.

    Through our Summer Internship Program, TIPS provides paid summer internships for enrolled, high school youth at local nonprofit organizations. These internships offer teens practical work experience, an understanding of ethical leadership, and a venue to put their values into action; and, our nonprofits gain additional staff during the summer months, at no cost to their organizations.     KUOW Summer 2021 Online Intro to Radio Journalism Workshop (PAID)

    This is a PAID opportunity open to teens ages 15-18 in the greater Seattle area. Students will learn radio journalism and storytelling skills, build confidence and work with others while creating a radio story about a person in their home or community.

    Seattle Children's Research Institute Summer 2021 Program 

    Seattle Children's Research Institute is offering two programs led by PhD-level scientists and educators. Students will learn how to work in a research laboratory environment and learn about topics including biochemistry, immunotherapy, gene editing, and infectious diseases. Students will also participate in workshops on college readiness and career exploration. These programs provide students with a solid foundation for a future career in biomedical research, and there is no cost to participate.

    • The Research Training Program (RTP) is an in-person3 week program,  limited-capacity program, with a competitive application process for students from groups that are underrepresented in biomedical research. Stipends are available to offset costs for transportation and meals. We do not provide or arrange housing for students.

                              Session 1: July 12 - 30, 2021 from 8:30 am - 4 PM.                                                                                                                    Session 2: August 9 - 27, 2021 from 8:30am - 4PM. 

    • The Virtual Research Training Program (VRTP) is an online program with no limit to capacity.

    Seattle U Summer Business Institute

    Seattle University offers Academic, Credit Bearing, high school summer programs. Seattle University’s Summer Business Institute is an Albers School of Business & Economics program focused on social entrepreneurship. The program provides youth from African-American, LatinX/Hispanic, Native American Indigenous, and Pacific Islander heritages the opportunity to explore entrepreneurship, data visualization, economics, and more while gaining exposure to university life in the Seattle area. Scholarships to attend are available.

    Anson L. Clark Scholars Program - Texas Tech University 

    Description: The Clark Scholars Program is an in-depth research program that is open to students 17 years and older in nearly all disciplines, from accounting to dance to philosophy and everything in between. The program features one-on-one research with faculty, as well as weekly seminars, discussions, and field trips. The Clark Scholars Program is very competitive, with only 12 students accepted each year.

    Notre Dame Leadership Seminars -University of Notre Dame 

    Description: Leadership Seminars is for current high school juniors who are academically gifted leaders in their school, church, local community, or other social organizations. Students participate in one of three seminars (sample topic: Global Issues: Violence and Peace in the Modern Age). Around 90 students are admitted each year—usually ranking in the top 10 percent of their class—and are eligible to receive one college credit.

    EF Internship & French Language Program 

    The EF Internship & French Language Program in Paris or Nice combines an unpaid internship experience of 50 hours or more with a minimum 8-week EF French Language Course. The Internship Plus option can extend this experience to 6 or 9 months.

    This program combines volunteer experience of 50 hours or more with a minimum 8-week language course. In addition to making progress toward fluency in your language course with interactive lessons inside and outside of the classroom, you'll enrich your understanding of the language by volunteering part-time at a local organization.
